is it vacumn leak? with engine running try squirting water or
something(blaster..wd40 etc) or propane torch(not lit) just the gas, at the bases of carbs
, around the shafts, and gaskets and around and vacumn pipes where they have
the hoses at the base of the carbs, if idle changes bingo...also check for
distrib mechanical advance weights hanging up on the pins..(it would show as
timing way out of whack). rare problem caused by bad condenser in distrib.(can
act like carb problem). just some of the crap i have seen over the years...
