When heating a part in your house oven, no matter how well you have cleaned
it, including kerosene, brake clean followed by soap and hot water, there
will be oil somewhere which will seep out. Fortunately, this Bohunk placed
an old cookie sheet underneath with tin foil on that. You should too.
Otherwise, you will have oil in your oven to make you and your significant
other very, very happy (?) with resultant odors.
Heat on the pinion gear and cold on the shaft makes the press work less.
Now if I can only get the pinion and ring gear adjustment right!
