as i remember it the stalling happen after running awhile in hot weather,
car would lose power and stepping on the gas only made things worse, seemed
like the less peddle i used the better it would run until it would die or i
would let it cool off. BUT when i first got it the heater hose was missing,
i duct-taped that shut, it got better, there was about a 4x6 inch hole at
the rear left hand corner of the motor, i assume what ever went there had to
do with helping to warm the engine up in cold weather, i cut a sheet of tin
and cover it . after that it seems to run fine unless i was braking hard
into a corner or stop sign, it would try to stall, that seemed to stop after
i replaced the fuel pump. i also changed plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.
btw... in case you didn't guess, this free car came with a rusty box of
parts
the warm air from the oil cooler is not really hot i guess. .maybe luke warm
its really doing fine, im just worried about the rigors of a hot 4 of july
parade..
thanks
