Normally I would agree with that, but today I went to a new ice cream place
because it advertises, under "Ice Cream Specialties", malts, shakes, and
sodas.  So, I ask the kid, for a chocolate soda.  He points to a row of soft
drink cans and says, "Which soda?".  To which I replied, "No, an ice cream
soda.  Vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and carbonated water."  He looks
extremely puzzled and goes of and put two scoops of chocolate ice cream in a
glass and starts putting tap water in it.  I say, "No, carbonated water."
He says, "We don't have any carbonated water."  I say, "Forget it, just give
me a chocolate cone."  He picks up a waffle cone which has been dipped in
chocolate and says, "Do you want any ice cream in it?"

There is an exception to any rule.
