Subject: <VV> POWER WASHER?

I had to push corvairs around yesterday, and check a tire that keeps going
flat. Got Grechen, the 61 lakewood, to her new position, jacked it up, and
pulled the tire. The bead was split, and had a hugh bubble on the backside.
While I had it up, and tire off, looking at all the cobwebs, and various
gunk that builds up under there, it occured to me that other than being
careful about the heater hoses, would it hurt anything to use a power washer
to clean all the gunk out, and off the drivetrain? Not going down through
the fan, just the outside areas, could I hurt something doing that, and is
there anything I should be careful of? Not a real high power washer either.
Thanks BRUCE
