Mike,all the 'hotrods' are labelled as 'Cov-8's' or 'mid-engine Corvairs ' ,not just 'Corvair',,that's the distinction...they do have the same suspension,stock or modified,and aside from the body style,this makes them still "mostly" Corvair,being the unique cars that they are...chalk the mid-engine Corvair up to "evolution",what 'could have been',as even GM did it with the Monza SS/GT....
