I would expect a 140 to do well on 89 octane mid-grade. Is this so ? Summer,
east coast sea level driving. Any ignition
tweaks required ? Brands to get/avoid ? Additives ?

Padgett,
I believe 140's (also 110's and turbos) require premium fuel (91+ octane).
The higher the better. Even with 93 octane, I had to retard my timing 2
degrees. In the summer, 4 degrees is better if I run the AC.
