Alan,  First overall win by an American "Team"...whatever that means-a 
German car with foreign drivers...

Last one in 67 was the Ford GT which was American car, team and drivers... 
Gurney and Shelby? or Foyt?

Last class win was Corvette; American car, team and mostly American drivers 
except for ...Papis, Fellows, O'Connell? etc...
