Smitty says:  this talk about the power potential of alky is ignoring one
basic fact.  As I am driving cross country and pass through an area
providing Gasahol, I am rather unlikely to get out of the car and make
adjustments to my compression ratio to take advantage of the mixture. 
Even If I take a job in that town and stay there a couple of years I am
unlikely to mess with the compression ratio.  So THAT advantage is a
non-advantage.
