My 1974 Karmann-Ghia used a spare-powered windshield washer. Still miss that
car (German "cousin" to Fireball, described below).

Ok, car trivia buffs .. I KNOW I have seen a washer setup powered by the air
pressure in a spare tire ... I think .... help me out here .... no fair
referencing JC Whitney, it figgers they have 4 or 5 models .... I think it
was a factory rig ...

  just a air hose pressurizing a wet jar ...  with a solenoid in the middle
... POW ... 40 psi blast of water jet .. probably eat the bugs right off the
windscreen !!
