<VV> LM Convertible Interior Question

Hi everyone.

I'm just about to embark on the last major installation job on my 66
convertible - the interior rear compartment.

The current problem is that the large piece that includes the armrest
doesn't fit, specifically, it's about 1 inch too far forward (to the front
of the car) to allow it to mate with the various brackets. At the back of
this large piece is a flange.

Here's my question - does the flange go in front of or behind the main cross
piece that holds the rear seat back in place?

I checked the body manual and it doesn't say. I first thought the flange
went in front but that makes it too far forward but putting it behind the
main cross piece would interfere with the newly installed well bag.
