beg to differ,Smitty--mounted mine above rear x-member;it's inaudible...toggle switch in ground wire on dash,i can(and do) kill it when i back in the drive...haven't needed more fuel than it can supply,and there's 2 'purolater' brand pumps,different psi ratings,available...and i like the un-cluttered spot on the engine,where the stock pump is crammed in....Tom Z/'not going back'
