<VV> Padded Dash Replacement?

So..pondering replacing the padded dash on my '64.  Is it really as
easy as it appears to be? Was gonna order a padded dash from Clarks. 
Looks like it's pretty much formed to shape.  Is it really as easy as
taking the screws out of the trim, peeling out the old, gluing in the
new and putting the trim back on?  Anyone actually done this on an EM
and care to report?

My wife actually complained yesterday that I don't spend enough money
on the cars.  That I tend to "leave well enough alone" and she'd rather
that I make them pretty. (I never skimp mechanically).
