<VV> Gas Metal Arc Welding

I have heard many different names to describe the same welding process as I
travel across Canada and the USA.
The American Welding Society correct for terminology for this process is Gas
Metal Arc Welding.(GMAW)
Those familiar with Metal Inert Gas Welding (The obsolete name for the
process) will know what you mean.
I you want to call it something different that's up to you. Is that not what
is truly wonderful about a free society?
