But all the structural integrity comes from the epoxy. We use epoxy
here in work and with overlap, has excellent shear strength. I use pop
rivets to hold the assembly together until the epoxy cures.

To reach near original structural integrety it would take two
rows of driven steel rivets staggered and spaced 5/8 inches apart.
Notice I said driven, not pop. Smitty
