i am putting a new engine together for my 63 rampy with powerglide. plans are 
just 020 over with 95 heads with quench area and 140 retarded crank with 9889 
cam. i hope to go to a 327 rear axle at the same time.  i hope i have time to 
comeplete this in time to drive it this fall. getting ready to build a new 
house and shop nearby also so things are getting ready to go nuts here.  anyhow 
i end up with 2 decent sets of 110hp smog heads extra and i found a 60 starter 
nose that looks virgin while digging for parts to do this job.  any interest 
email me soon. we are flying to portland monday so the starter part could be 
with me. spent a goodly part of yesterday cleaning parts when i should have 
been doing other things..also are there any good ham radio supply stores in 
portland? should i bother with a handheld radio?
