I pushed my 65 monza 140/pg in neutral, dropped it in low, and it started!!! But I didn't push it by myself. Had someone helping me get her going fast enough. It can be done though. Nothing to defy, but you do have to get the car going a bit faster than a manual trans car. Normally you can get a man trans car started by pushing less than 20 feet.
