<VV> Starting Fluid / Startup proceedure

I always  CRANK  my Vairs  until oil pressure is present!...30-40 seconds.The 
pump has filled the carbs by then...

Then I depress the pedal once or twice. Otherwise it means two things:

....chokes are too lean [open]

.... accelerator pumps are not squirting a good 2 streams

It starts....idles on the fast cam.....doesn't die.....I can drive off 
immediatly  AND

The lifters never clatter!

That's my system...and I'm sticking to it!
