It'll be VERY slow. The trick I came up with is an air chisel. I made a
blade out of tool steel, with a VERY square and sharp end, just wide enough to
fit down between the fins. I brazed it to an air chisel bit, machined to take
it. Worked like a champ, and fairly fast. Required periodic facing to keep the
square end with the sharp corners, but I totally deflashed a pair of 140
heads in less than an hour. Oh, and wear hearing protection. The air chisel is
loud enough, but the ringing of the fins was worse!

I've heard lots of suggestions over the years about how to remove the
flash in the heads. One idea I've wondered about but never heard is sand
blasting (after the passage is partially opened). Would this work? I
haven't tried it yet. It seems like this would clean and smooth with
much less risk than saws and drills.
