A Chevy dealer located in Canal Winchester, Ohio (just southeast of  
Columbus) is
auctioning 100 cars from his collection this weekend. One of the cars  
is a 1969
Corvair 500, VIN# 101379W705381
with 11.9 miles. It would be great to see this car go to a corvair  
enthusiast.

The auction is being handled by MECUM (815-568-8888) or  
www.MecumAuction.com.
The car is from the Bob McDorman collection and all cars are being  
offered at no
reserve.

A total of five corvairs are being offered.

Although short notice, could you please spread the word?

Unfortunately, I don't have the means to purchase the 500 at this time.  
But, I
am driving up Friday, July 15 to view the cars and in particular the  
500.
