Several years ago my wide had surgery to remove a spur from her right foot 
and I bent an aluminum rod to make a left foot gas pedal. Used a small sway 
bar bracket and bushing to hold on left and clamped to accellerator pedal 
on right. Only took a few minutes and worked just fine other than blocking 
the dimmer switch.
