Not exactly. The final mag cast fan was a comprimise between airflow  
performance, existing design application (use the same/similar shrouding) and  cost 
of manufacturing. The overall design of this fan can be substantially  improved 
to give better airflow. For starters, the blades are constantly at  right 
angles. This is not the best aerodynamic shape, but really easy (cheap) to  make.
