Check this out. This, according to the numbers provided, is a '65
Corsa convertible. OK, the not so strange part is that the 140 has
apparently been changed somewhere along the line to a 110. I'm not
100% sure as I'm taking the guys word that the engine has two
carburetors. I haven't seen any pictures of the engine. Now, the
strange part, the emblem on the hood apparently indicates that it is a
turbo. Go figure! What say the forum?
Thanks you will have to educate me i am a corvette expert not corvair

P.S. Just went to our club's (The North Texas Corvair Association) 30th
anniversary party tonight. Several of the members looked at my jugs.
That sounds kind of weird . . .
Anywho, they said that in no way shape or form should I reuse them
without boring them to .040 first. They were in agreement that the
pistons were salvageable, but new rings and jugs and getting .032
(could have swore this what they said, and I repeated in twice, to
improve compression and reduce pinging) base gaskets would be the best
way to go. Three of the members told me that they had rebuilt engines
that worked fine and that it was within my abilities to do the same
with the advise of the club members (and the good ole vv). I'm
considering taking the plunge. More on this later.
