The truth is; if you ask for qualitative opinions among a large and diverse
enough group... what you will get back is random noise.
Almost worthless for making decisions.

However, if you ask for quantitative data, you will find fewer responses,
and a much higher signal to noise ratio.

The difficulty is; most people are good at qualitative responses and not so
good at quantitative responses.
