Hi Steve.
If it's still attached, there should be a small rubber-capped cable end
just to the side of the steering wheel shaft where it passes under the
dash. There is a short piece of speedo cable that is spring loaded.
Push in, turn until zeroed, and make SURE it comes back out or it will
remain engaged to the trip odo...

OK...I have had the car for a year and a half, have read 1/2 dozen
Corvair books cover to cover and still do not know how to reset my trip
odometer! Anyone give me a clue?
