Although I have never used Amsoil products, but do use synthetic oil in all 
my Corvairs, I can report that here in Springfield, IL the local NAPA dealer 
stocks Amsoil right on the shelf below the main counter, front and center.   Bob 
is right that Amsoil used/uses a "dealer" distribution approach much like the 
POR products do...
