<VV> cracked glass

In Britain the windshield is usually covered on a classic insurance policy.
It is not unknown for people, when they crack their windscreen, to be so sad
about it that they accidentally drop a house brick onto the cracked bit,
thus necessitating an insurance claim.
Of course, I don't know anyone who has done that (and actually I don't - but
I do know it happens! Fortunately for me, the last windshield I broke was in
1986, and I had a spare right there!).
Cheers
Alan
