<VV> alternator prob

Hey all, I had a similar problem when I converted my 64 to an alternator...I 
had a short in the starter...... as long as I dis-connected my battery at 
night, I would have no battery problems....Dis-connect the positive battery cable 
at the battery.....put a test light between the pos bat cable and ground it to 
the body in the engine compartment   if it lights, you have a short....now 
dis-connect the cable at the starter..... if it doesn't light up ,,,you have a 
short in the starter....if it still lights up..proceed to dis-connect all power 
sources untill the light d
doesn't light up    you will then find the short.....mark    Bonnzz@aol.com
