Thanks guys for bringing back memories of my '51 Chevy wagon "woodie" with 
PG.  Those vacuum motor/fuel pumps were sure fun.  I often wondered how many 
people died driving into things while driving uphill in the rain.  I drove mine 
in the early '60's and LOVED the family '61 Corvair 700 because it had electric 
wipers.

Now that's the kind of story I like to hear!   I can relate hundreds of times 
that similar things were the case......and the cost of the fix!

Note:.....the Rockets'  rockerarm spacer springs worked as replacement fuel 
pump springs...so a roadside repair could be made.....and a piece of heater 
hose could be used to hold the rocker arms apart!
