<VV> Drive train question

 I have two differentials- already rebuilt/sealed- one
is a standard 3:27 in a '64 case- the other is a
positrac 3:27 in a '64 case---I need to select one of
these to go in my "64 ized" Lakewood --- is the
positrac system reliable or necessary (no snow here),
or are there just more parts to break-- I see ads for
"stronger" pieces- "better", etc   or- should I just
stick with the regular geared box???
