Humm... I dunno...

I had a Fiat 1500 Cabriolet (that I sorely would like to have back, anybody
know where I can get one that's restorable?) with that crosflow had and a
"tri-Y" header, and a Weber as described which was continuously being
troublesome... PO had cobbled it and stripped a couple of screw holes etc
and it needed a rebuild instead of an overhaul, choke mechanism missing
pieces etc.

I went 'yarding and turned up an Autolite "Weber Clone" carb off a wrecked
'71 Pinto that bolted right up and ran well, never gave me any more trouble
after that, did a good job. Later on, someone else *gave* me another
carb exactly like it, which is still sitting on a shelf in the basement to
this day. Been there about 20 years now.

I bet it needs a kit in it...

I'd put it on a Fiat 1500 Cabrio if I could find one worth refurbishing.
If they only didn't rust so easy... most people just threw them away, "It's
only a Fiat, ain't worth anything." It was a fun little car though, got
rid of it because I was apartment'ing at the time and had two other cars,
no place to put the Fiat and somebody made me an offer on it. I woulda
kept it if I'd had a place to put it.

The car cost me 100 bucks then... and it was together and in good shape and
running sorry until I swapped out the carb, owner thought it was crap.
Fiats get no respect.
