<VV> Insurance

I have almost acquired a 1966 Corvair Convertible.  The reason I say
almost, is that it is still in New Mexico, to be delivered this next week.
I have been trying to find insurance for it and the three companies I have
contacted, will not insure it unless it is in a garage.  I do have a
covered carport, enclosed on two sides, but that is not enough.  Does this
group have any suggestions, or is that the way of all Classic Car Insurers?
