Totally believable, in my wild and demented youth, I used to feast on
Panteras and it's predecessor the Mangusta. I was driving a MG TD with a
327 small block. Ate the "P" car as well. Ah....fond memories.

I think I recall seeing Rick Norris beat a Pantera in an SCCA autocross in
about 1972, with Rick driving a Corsa 180 demoted to a mere 4-barrel carb.
Or did he come in 3rd, with the Pantera 2nd? So why not buy (or put
together) a good Corvair instead? Like a Yenko Stinger, or Stinger clone.
