I painted med blue over med blue on a convert which has it's top down all
summer long (roughly 8 months) in IL (garaged when not in use). I was quite
happy with the initial results. Over a 3yr period, it went about 45,000 to
50,000 miles and I felt that it needed "refreshing" at that point. I
replaced with Clark's interior and sold the old seat skins and door panels
at that point. They were still certainly good enough for a daily driver.
This was about 10 yrs ago - the dye job took place. Don't remember what
brand product was used at the time.
Your results are likely to vary if you are going over black.
Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.
