I wouldn't bother making it wet or it'll be less than cool in short order.
Those batteries weren't nearly as good as modern ones, so I'd keep it for
show only and get a Honda battery for driving. It'll be lighter and not
prone to spillage without the acid. Without acid it'll always be new, with
acid it's just a used battery.Win-win.
