<VV> paint on plastic

I would not use regular rubbing compound, instead I would use novus plastic polish no 2, I've used this for years to clean the windscreen on my Goldwing with great results. Most motorcycle shops should have it.

Hmm, would regular rubbing compound work, or might that scratch clear
plastic?
