Joe;
Be careful, there are also plastic bushings in the pieces you can't take apart... I was too worried about the bushings getting melted (=wrecked frame) by the powder coaters, so I took the frame apart as far as I could, had it sandblasted, cleaned the joints with air and picks, then painted and reassembled. The only piece I had powder coated was the windshield header.

Hi,
I'm getting ready to rebuild my 64 spyder's convertible top... I've taken
everything apart and I'll soon be taking it to the powder coaters for
refinishing. As I was taking things apart, I noticed that there are half a
dozen or so plastic bushings which are in bad shape on my top; does anyone
know of a place which offers replacement plastic bushings for a manual top?
If not... Has anyone found a suitable substitute?
Kind Regards,
Joe West
