<VV> 93 Corvette ideas wanted (No corvair)

A buddy I've known since the last ice age called me looking for advice - he  
had hydroplaned his '93 LT-1 44K, 6-speed Corvette and damaged the LF and RR,  
plus he shattered the rear window.  To make a long story short, according  to 
State Farm, it was "totalled." He wasn't interested in buying the salvage.  
Could I buy it then?  Sure!  It was shipped up (to ID from LA) and I  got it 
today.  It has a "chip", oversize Borla SS exhaust and K&N  intake. I cleaned up 
the broken glass, straightened a bent tie-rod and took her  for a spin.  
OMG!!! This car is wicked-fast!   With the  traction control off, I launched hard. 
Sideways all the way to the rev limiter  in 1st & 2nd, and shut down partway 
into 3rd.  I don't think I can  control myself!  The grin still hasn't worn 
off!  This thing is  wicked!!!  I could easily fix the body and replace the rear 
glass... but..  wouldn't it look good with a Cobra kit-car body?  Or a 
sectioned '32  roadster body?? or.. what???  I'm in this thing really, really right, 
so  anything is possible. Ideas???
