<VV> Windlace Question

Hi,

Page 223 of the Clarks catalogue makes reference to late model convertible
windlace "for the convertible top". It's sold as a 4 foot piece. Oddly
enough my parts bin has two 2 pieces each about 2 feet long with right angle
curves at each end and I never knew what they were for but I'm guessing this
is it.

Where exactly does this/they fit?
