No they wouldn't......not in 1963!  Back in those days, what little
programming that did exist on FM was tailored for insomniacs that didn't
respond to strong drugs.  It was something you heard while incarcerated in
an elevator for 30 seconds, but didn't care if you ever heard the end of the
song (or the beginning for that matter)!  People that actually listened to
FM at the time wore flannel shirts with the top-button buttoned, ordered
those "spiffy" shoes from L.L. Bean before the word "Yuppie" was invented,
and drove Checkers (though they respected Dodge because they sponsored the
"Lawrence Welk" show!)!  They were called "squares" because the word "Nerd"
hadn't been invented yet!  They didn't drive or buy Corvairs.  My guess is
that at the time, you couldn't have sold an FM radio to a Corvair buyer at
gunpoint!

John....who actually remembers 1963!
