Anybody got a picture of this "wire clip spring?" The spring that is wrapped
around the float shaft and anchored through a hole in the float frame is the
one I'm referring to. And your carb does need that spring.

I have been corrected. If you are talking about the locking clip, as Mike
is, then I agree with Mike. Shouldn't matter.

Hey Chuck - He's not talking about that one. He's
refering to the locking clip that comes with many of
the current kits, to clip the needle to the float. I
never use them and have suffered no ill effects.
