I am mostly replying so that I can state that I am in my 30's...as this 
will soon not be the case. 

39 here.

First corvair (that never ran) when I was 14.  Several since.  BTW, I was 
also Corvair Kid on the CG in the early-mid 70's.  Dad was a Corsa member 
from the beginning. 

First convention, Seattle in, what was it, '75?  We got the hard luck 
trophy that year for a dropped valve seat in Dad's '65 Corsa convertible. 
He does not like to talk about it.

Could be a whole new thread:  What was your first convention?
