<VV> Another Q about shrouds

We have water here in Miami, too (deep, sometimes, and sometimes salt). I'm
not really afraid of the water when I have my shrouds off, even though water
CANNOT be good for the parts involved. The reason I'm so fearless is that
air IS rushing down through the cylinders and pushrods (whatever color
you've got them), and SHOULD deflect most of the water. If it doesn't, you
should notice steam coming off the exhaust manifolds, and I've never noticed
steam, so I'd say drive on, and don't park in any deep puddles.

Up here in the great NW, where it is known to rain on occasion, is it okay
to
run without lower shrouds in the wet?
