No, it is also now - to change the direction of the beans, we are supposed
to put on a plastic deflector which makes them shime the other way (I do not
need to do this on my car because it is 'cross-eyed' - it has one LHD
headlight and one RHD headlight, so there isn't much point in deflecting the
beams - they are a 'compromise' (although I have to make sure I have a
friendly inspection guy!).
Re. the yellow lights - France has had white lights for ten years or more
(Euro-blandness creeping in everywhere!) - all modern French cars are 'Euro
standard' with white lights, but there are still quite a few older cars that
still have yellow lights, and the classic car people always put them on
because it 'looks right'!
