All that would be neccesary to engage the lockup if its pressure operated
would be to put a solenoid on the converter return port along the left side
tubular drain on the differential casting. There would be little advantage
to this in a Corvair as the converters have very good efficiency however,
the slip is miniscule compared to most cars.
