I'm thinking the hot ignition switch might just be dropping some voltage (as
in DEFINITELY) and in combination with the normal ignition resistor voltage
drop there just isn't enough coil output to spark the engine well. You can test
this theory by driving until the 'lil Rampy poops out and then "hot wiring"
the coil to the battery and seeing if it starts.
Your ignition switch shouldn't be getting that hot. Either the switch is
defective, there's an abnormal load on the switch or you have 2000w amp running
through the switch. ;-)
