 You guys on the East Coast would probably really be
laughin' your ass off if you were here---Red
Neckerson, local Floresville AM radio personality,
announced that the the dog's water bowl outside his
trailer is freezing over, and his broadcast fishin'
pole antenna is icing---- so the grade school/high
school (same trailer) will be closed tomorrow---he's
also the school principal (recent graduate) and county
sand truck driver.  He also announced that he will be
sanding the main road between both redlights
downtown---hopefully Bubba won't skid into the County
Peanut statue on the courthouse lawn,,,, again.  

San Antonio's Channel 4 weather girl-- (San Antonio is
right down the road)  --  was standing outside doing
her weather thing with seven layers of clothes on (saw
that on my kerosene powered telebizzion)---said she
actually saw a pickup spinnin' it's tars on the
assphault---(Eastern people- a "pickup"  has nothing
to do with women---a "pickup" is the main mode of
transport in TeXas-haul cow s--- fertilizer,--- or the
kids---in the bed (backie part)  -sometimes at the
same time)

The "General" (known locally as my wife---??? or, my
wife, known locally as the "General") was enroute to
the Pentagon today -- says the airport in Dallas/Ft
Worth closed right AFTER  her flight departed (there
ARE some really wize people in D/FW--they have heard
about the General)---I'll betya right now, there are
some NTCA guys (that stanz for North TeXas Corvair
Assn) drivin' roofin tacks in tires ("tars" for
locals) and makin' up rules for ice racin'---
