<VV> '65 Quick Steering Option

What was the availability for '65 quick steering from GM.  I have a '65 Corsa 
with telescoping/wood wheel.  I thought I had some info on when the quick 
steering became available, but can't find it.  Kent and others--what was the 
availability for N44?  My Corsa is an early California Corsa.  I'd like to add the 
option (if I can find one).
