<VV> Hole under coil

I covered that D shaped hole under my coil and things in the area seem to 
be running much cooler now. Can see from manual supplement (fig. 1 and 4 
section 6T) that an AIR tube goes through there (illustration shows 
alternator but not distributor or coil). Would suggest that 66-later cars 
without AIR cover the hole. I really did not like coil temperatures of 175+ 
F but can put my hand on it after driving now.
