<VV> Convention issue of Communique

Hello--

Why, thank you Hank. Both Mike and I appreciate it. And we very much 
appreciate those who wrote articles about their experiences. It is they who 
deserve most of the credit for this issue.

To answer your points:

1. The minutes are typically not included in the convention issue. It is as 
your surmised, indeed a space issue. The convention issue is 8 pages larger 
than our normal issue. The minutes will be in the October or November issue.

2. While it is correct that the announcement of a dues increase is on the 
last page of the magazine, it should also be noted that the new dues 
structure is also on the membership application which appears on the inside 
front dustcover facing the front cover.

I do intend to write an article explaining the reasons for the increase. 
The last increase was in 1997.
